MANAGING DIRECTOR<\/h3>\n

With over 40 years of experience in tourism and international hospitality, I have made it my mission to offer guests not just a place to stay, but a true home away from home. Since 2014, I have been managing the Austrian Garden Hotel & Restaurant in Patong \u2013 one of Phuket\u2019s most popular destinations. By combining Austrian hospitality with Thai warmth, we\u2019ve created a unique concept that has turned many first-time visitors into loyal regulars.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Robert Pagitsch \u2013 A Chef by Passion<\/h2>\n

His Profession Is Also His Calling<\/h3>\n

For Robert, a professionally trained chef, his job is more than just a career \u2013 it\u2019s a true vocation.<\/p>\n

After completing his classical three-year culinary training in Tyrol, he gained valuable experience in various tourism regions across Austria \u2013 including as Sous Chef at Hotel Br\u00e4uwirt (Tyrol) and Head Chef at Hotel Piuk (Carinthia).<\/p>\n

At just 21, Robert ventured out into the world: for two years, he worked as First Cook aboard the luxury cruise ship Zenith, sailing through the Caribbean. Upon returning to Austria, he spent two seasons managing the culinary department at the renowned Hotel Gotthard in Arlberg.<\/p>\n

His passion for international cuisine eventually brought him to Thailand \u2013 originally for just one year to explore Asian culinary traditions. But one year turned into over 22 years in Phuket, including 13 years as Head Chef and 9 years as Restaurant Manager, most notably at the well-known K-Hotel in Patong.<\/p>\n

Today, Robert is the creative culinary force behind the Austrian Garden Restaurant, delighting guests with authentic Austrian cuisine, international expertise, and heartfelt hospitality.<\/p>\n

In his private life…
\n… Robert is a devoted family man who stays active with football and tennis, enjoys deep-sea fishing and foraging for wild mushrooms, and loves good food shared in great company with family and friends.<\/p>\n

OPERATION MANAGER<\/h3>\n

Our Longest-Serving Team Member \u2013 and the Heart of the House
\nKhun Oh has been part of our team since 1993, and her dedication has shaped the soul of the Austrian Garden.<\/p>\n

She began her career as a receptionist at the former Patong Penthouse and has since gained over 20 years of valuable experience in all areas of hotel operations. Today, she is an essential leader and a cornerstone of our hotel\u2019s success.<\/p>\n

As Operations Manager, Khun Oh is responsible for nearly all aspects of the hotel\u2019s daily operations. From staff management, guest services, and organizational planning to technical coordination \u2013 nothing happens without her careful attention and tireless commitment. She leads the entire team with skill and dedication, and her exceptional organizational talent ensures smooth operations day in and day out.<\/p>\n
